Since some people don’t know, let’s make a quick guide.

Alright, so, you’re looking around on Tumblr, and on your dash, you see this post:

And you think, I want to save this in case it’s deleted!

What you have to do is hover over the top-right corner like so:

And then right-click so you can click the “copy link address” or “copy link location” etc like so:

Then, you go to this website:

http://archive.is/

Paste in the link from above:

Click the “save the page” button:

Watch archive.is save the link:

Note the url at the top:

That’s the direct link to the archived page.

You’ll then be redirected to the newly archived page, which will look like this:

Wow, that’s buggy and doesn’t show the above post, huh? What do you do if that happens?

Click the “screenshot” button:

Which will then give you a saved snapshot image of the page, like so:

And now, if you want anyone else to see that post, you give them the link as shown earlier:
