Okay so apparently the data a bluray disk can hold is 25GB

The game was 50GB~ you’d need several disks to install it and the 50GB day one patch they released that’s why its a download key.

@such-justice-wow PS4 and XB1 discs are dual layer and can hold 50GB. Still not enough but not because the game actually needs that much space but because Bethseda is fucking up. They rushed this. IIRC, what happens is once they finish the game, a team comes in and makes sure it fits on the disc, patches and all. Bethseda keeps releasing patches but their will be no compression formula so it will just grow until it is literally too big to fit on your hard drive.
