Struggled thinking of a colour. Ended up trying blue and orange before settling on purple. Nothing outdoes classic Eggman red though.
Should be obvious enough that I went for the Eggman design rather than Robotnik- but I intend for a more Robotnik-esque design to be in his past, sort of like in Archie. Body switching and all that.
Outfit design is more ‘ringleader’-y, like a circus, because that kind of works and I see him as an ‘eccentric creator’ type.
Old 2013 stuff I still personally think is neat and bringing up now because I have more of an audience who might think this stuff is cool too.
I made an AU that was intended to be one of the multiverses found in Archie’s Sonic’s ‘cosmic interstate’. It basically paralleled the main Archie Sonic verse shown in the comics, but with one difference that makes everything majorly different: The Robotnik of this universe works in genetics and bio-engineering rather than in robotics. So the world is full of bioweapons and mutants. I did some other ideas and concepts which I’ll be reblogging in a bit.
The good doctor is still one of my favourites villains ever even if most of his plans are hum…less than favorable. BUT HE’S GOT SOME INTENSE DETERMINATION THAT’S FOR SURE!
