-William was aware that his two animatronic incarnations existed in the roster, so he decided to have only them active just to see what happens.
-Least to say both Spring and Scrap are confused af because they weren’t aware of the other’s existence at all.
-But Will takes this chance to berate Scrap for allowing himself to be drawn into the labyrinth and burned with the others, which ultimately condemned him to be brutally murdered by his creations over and over again.
-In retaliation Scrap just slits his throat with his sharp bone appendage, not believing him and thinking his death would reset everything.
-The next night when the two rabbits return they’re surprised to see Will alive, with the exception of a stitch on his forehead.
-Soon enough, they come to the realization that Will not only faces the animatronics that suffered by his hands, but also his worst demon: himself.
-By that extension, this was their punishment, too.
-Scrap is, of course, pissed this is what became of him, but at the same time is intrigued.
-Spring would give his input, but he can’t really talk (I hc that the mechanisms in the suit’s neck constricted his throat every time he tried to speak, which is why his voice is so raspy once he switched suits), only make gestures.
-The trio of serial killers form a truce, and the two promise to help Will fend off the other 48 animatronics (plus the ones DD summons).
-If he was doomed to eternal suffering, they might as well suffer together, right?
