There are different runes that are associated with Loki but among them I like it most when Kenaz is considered Loki’s rune. Mostly because it’s a rune that is strongly represents knowledge.

“Kenaz is the root of all technological knowledge, the rune of the craftsman and the crafty one – Loki.”[X]

“Kenaz means “torch” and it’s a symbol of knowledge and intellect, illumination, searching for enlightenment, shedding light on matters, quest for truth, skills and abilities, creativity, art, craftsmanship, cunning, acquisition and application of knowledge, occult female secrets, intuition, enthusiasm in teaching/learning, study, kin-fire, opportunity, playfulness.“[X]

The interesting thing about the shape of this rune is that if you are a Loki fan(Marvel comics/MCU), you have certainly seen it on Loki’s costumes. Especially in recent comics.

And yes, in this state the rune is still considered in upright position.

You have also seen it in MCU.

Loki’s helmet also is shaped in a way that is similar to Kenaz.

The meaning of the runes that make Loki’s name is also interesting for me:

Laguz: Water(Unconscious, Collective Memory)

Othala: Homeland(Inheritance, estate, noble)

kenaz: Torch(Knowledge)

Isa: Ice(Stasis, Stillness)
